This expertise extends beyond academia, as Kem-Laurin has spent over 15 years honing her skills at multinational companies such as Siemens, Blackberry and Autodesk, where she led multiple design teams. But there's more to Kem-Laurin than just her professional pursuits. She's also a seasoned lecturer in Information Design, sharing her wealth of knowledge with eager minds. she was also the lead Facilitator on a joint workshop sponsored by Deloitte, Manulife, TD and Laurier university on The Future of Work. As an accomplished author, she has written the influential book "User Experience in the Age of Sustainability" and has an upcoming release titled "Everyday Design Thinking." Beyond her professional achievements, Kem-Laurin is a multi-faceted individual.
